I began honing my skill and passion for poetry through voluntary performances in churches, academic institutions, and community-based events around Bulawayo. As my confidence and ability grew, I began to realize the impact my words could have. I began to see the power of using my voice to inspire and uplift others.

Born Free talks about socio-economic and political challenges faced by youth in Zimbabwe. It does this through a profile of the vibrant city of Bulawayo, seen through the eyes of two young lovers, seeking to survive on its streets.
